Today marks the birthday of two friends- one I got to know in church, and the other, while attending tuition classes in preparation for my O levels. Both of them turn thirty today- sheesh- I just revealed my age.
I am not thirty...yet!
On a similar, happy note, I conclude my years of studies (for now) with reasonably good grades for the last two modules of my degree studies, resulting in an unflattering GPA grade of 2.8 out of the possible 4. I am just extremely thankful for the opportunity to study, to have done reasonably well as a part-time student. And now, allow me to express my profound appreciation to those who have journeyed with me, stood by me, and encouraged me through these challenging times! Cheers to that.
A significant portion of my past few weeks have been spent on job hunting, and to be honest, this has been a rather tedious and challenging process. This also marks a season of searching and reflection- as I ponder over the next step to take. Ideally speaking, I would love a communications related job (within an agency) that would help me to develop and contribute to this industry. Searching for an entry-level position in local PR agencies have proved to be akin to finding a needle in the haystack!
As I speak, there are hundreds of kids walking past, happy to be ending the school day. I'd be just as glad to end the day- random, illogical noises kept me awake almost the whole of last night.
